Passenger Compartment Air Filter Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the hood weatherstrip.
2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement Service and Repair in Body Front End.
3. Remove the air filter cover.




4. Remove the air filter.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the air filter into its cavity in the cowl.
2. Align the fins on the plastic frame of the filter with the groove in the holder before attempting to insert the filter into place.
3. Install the air filter cover.
4. Install the air inlet grille panel with the screws. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement Service and Repair in Body Front End.
5. Install the hood weatherstrip.
