Glow Plug Replacement - Bank 1



GLOW PLUG REPLACEMENT - BANK 1

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the left wheelhouse panel, if necessary.
4. Remove the glow plug harness nut(s).
5. Remove the harness from the glow plug(s).
6. Remove the glow plug(s).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the glow plug(s).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Tighten the plug to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

2. Install the harness to the glow plug(s).
3. Install the glow plug harness nut(s).

Tighten the nut to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in).

4. Install the left wheelhouse panel, if necessary.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Install the engine cover.
