Air Inlet Assembly Replacement

AIR INLET ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Remove the air inlet grille panel and the air inlet water deflector in order to remove debris from the HVAC module air inlet screen. Install a new air inlet water deflector.

1. Remove the HVAC module assembly.
2. Remove the recirculation actuator screws.




3. Remove the recirculation actuator.
4. Remove the air inlet assembly screws.




5. Remove the air inlet assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air inlet assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the air inlet assembly screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

3. Install the recirculation actuator.




4. Install the recirculation actuator screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

5. Install the HVAC module assembly.
