Console Replacement

CONSOLE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the console upper trim plate.




2. Remove the upper 2 screws located near the body control module.
3. Move the gearshift into the PARK position.
4. Position the park brake lever to the full UP position.




5. Hold the console and move forward of vehicle to release the front retaining tabs (1).




6. Lift up on the rear of the console and remove from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Lift up on the rear of the console and install into the vehicle.




2. Hold the console and move rearward of vehicle to engage the front retaining tabs (1).
3. Position the park brake lever to the full DOWN position.
4. Move the gearshift into the LOW position.




5. Install the 2 upper screws located near the body control module.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

6. Install the console upper trim plate.
