Multifunction Turn Signal Switch Housing Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.




2. Remove 2 washer head screws from the switch mounting plate.
Slide the switch mounting plate from the steering column shaft.

Installation Procedure




1. Slide the switch mounting plate onto the steering column shaft.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install 2 washer head screws into the switch mounting plate.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

3. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
