Windshield Defroster Duct Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the I/P carrier.





3. Remove the windshield defrost duct retaining screws at the heater case.
4. Remove the windshield defrost duct retaining nuts at the cowl.
5. Remove the windshield defrost duct (5) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the windshield defrost duct (5) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the windshield defrost duct retaining nuts to the cowl.

Tighten the nuts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

3. Install the windshield defrost duct retaining screws to the heater case.

Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

4. Install the I/P carrier.
5. Install the engine cover.
