Oil Pan, Engine

Align the oil pan until the rear of engine block and rear of oil pan are flush or even.





Important: Be sure to align the oil gallery passages in the oil pan and engine block properly with the oil pan gasket.

Pre-assemble the oil pan gasket to the pan.
Tighten the oil pan bolts until snug. Do not overtighten.

Oil Pan Alignment - to Rear of Engine Block at Transmission Bell Housing Mounting Surface 0.0-0.1 mm (0.0-0.004 in)

Oil Pan Closeout Cover Bolt - Left Side 12 N.m (106 lb in)
Oil Pan Closeout Cover Bolt - Right Side 12 N.m (106 lb in)
