PCV Valve Hose: Service and Repair



Crankcase Ventilation Hoses/Pipes Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the intake manifold cover.
2. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) fresh air tube from the air cleaner outlet duct.
3. Remove the PCV fresh air tube from the rocker arm cover.
4. Remove the PCV fresh air tube from the vehicle.




5. Disconnect the PCV foul air tube from the PCV valve.
6. Remove the PCV foul air tube from the intake manifold.
7. Remove the PCV foul air tube from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the PCV foul air tube to the vehicle.
2. Install the PCV foul air tube to the intake manifold.
3. Connect the PCV foul air tube to the PCV valve.




4. Install the PCV fresh air tube to the vehicle.
5. Install the PCV fresh air tube to the rocker arm cover.
6. Connect the PCV fresh air tube to the air cleaner outlet duct.
7. Install the intake manifold cover.
