Water Outlet Tube Replacement (LU3)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator duct.
2. Remove the radiator inlet hose.
3. Remove the turbocharger coolant bypass valve.
4. Remove the water outlet bolts.
5. Remove the water outlet.
6. Remove and discard the gasket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install a NEW gasket to the water outlet.
2. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine coolant.
3. Install the water outlet.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

4. Install the water outlet bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 21 N.m (15 lb ft).

5. Install the radiator inlet hose.
6. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator duct.
