Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield.
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.




3. Remove the MAP sensor bolt and sensor.

Installation Procedure




1. Lubricate the MAP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the MAP sensor and bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the MAP sensor.
4. Install the fuel injector sight shield.
