Transmission Mount Spacer Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement (4.2L) (Removal and Replacement)Transmission Mount Replacement (5.3L) (Removal and Replacement) .
3. Remove the transmission mount spacer mounting bolts (2).
4. Remove the transmission mount spacer (1).



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

1. Install the transmission mount spacer (1).
2. Install the transmission mount spacer mounting bolts (2).

Tighten the bolts to 65 N.m (48 lb ft).

3. Install the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement (4.2L) (Removal and Replacement)Transmission Mount Replacement (5.3L) (Removal and Replacement) .
4. Lower the vehicle.
