Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Use a utility stand with a block of wood in order to support the transaxle.




5. Remove the transaxle mount upper nuts.




6. Remove the transaxle mount bracket bolts.
7. Remove the transaxle mount bracket.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the transaxle mount bracket.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the transaxle mount bracket bolts.

Start with the forward lower bolt and work clockwise to tighten the transaxle mount bracket bolts to 95 N.m (70 lb ft).

3. Remove the utility stand.




4. Install the transaxle mount upper nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

5. Install the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
7. Lower the vehicle.
