Vehicle Yaw Sensor with Vehicle Lateral Accelerometer Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front floor console bracket assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Bracket Assembly Replacement Front Floor Console Bracket Assembly Replacement.




2. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the yaw rate sensor.
3. Remove the nuts (2) retaining the yaw rate sensor.
4. Remove the yaw rate sensor (1) from the console bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the yaw rate sensor (1) to the console bracket.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the nuts (2) retaining the yaw rate sensor and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
3. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the yaw rate sensor.
4. Install the front floor console bracket assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Bracket Assembly Replacement Front Floor Console Bracket Assembly Replacement.
