Removal Procedure

1. Position the shift lever boot out of the way (2).

2. Remove the retaining screw (3) from the lever.
3. Remove the lever (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Insert the shift lever (1) into the shift lever housing.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the shift lever retaining screw (3) and tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb in).
3. Position the shift lever boot (2).
