Oil Pan: Service and Repair




Oil Pan Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the oil pan cover retaining bolts.
3. Remove the cover.
4. Remove the gasket.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the gasket and cover on the engine block.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the retaining bolts for the cover.

Tighten the retaining bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb in).

3. Lower the vehicle.
