Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement

Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LDE, LXV, 2H0, and LUW) (1.8L)

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill))Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716 Fill) (Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716 Fill))




2. Loosen the hose clamp (1).
3. Remove the radiator outlet hose assembly (3) from the water pump.
4. Unclip the clamp (2).
5. Remove the radiator outlet hose assembly (3) from the radiator.




6. Loosen the clamp (3).
7. Remove the radiator outlet hose (1) from the radiator surge tank outlet hose (2).
8. Unclip the radiator outlet hose (1) from the 2 clips (4).

Installation Procedure




1. Clip in the radiator outlet hose (1) into the 2 clips (4).
2. Install the radiator outlet hose (1) to the radiator surge tank outlet hose (2).
3. Install the clamp (3).




4. Install the radiator surge tank outlet hose assembly (3) to the radiator.
5. Clip in the clamp (2).
6. Install the radiator surge tank outlet hose assembly (3) to the water pump.
7. Install the hose clamp (1).
8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill))Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716 Fill) (Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716 Fill))
