Battery Negative Cable Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection).
2. Disconnect the body harness electrical connector (1) from the battery current sensor (3).




3. Remove the negative battery cable bolt (3) at the support.
4. Remove the negative battery cable (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the negative battery cable (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the negative battery cable bolt (3) at the support.

Tighten the bolt to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).




3. Connect the body harness electrical connector (1) to the battery current sensor (3).
4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection).
