Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side




Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (LZE or LGD)

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Right) (Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Right))Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Left) (Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Left)).
4. Support the transaxle.




5. Remove the transaxle bracket to transaxle mount upper nuts.




6. Remove the bolts which secure the transaxle bracket to the transaxle.
7. Remove the transaxle bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the transaxle bracket to the transaxle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the transaxle bracket bolts and tighten to 95 Nm (70 lb ft).
3. Remove the support from the transaxle.




4. Install the upper nuts which secure the transaxle bracket to the transaxle mount. Tighten the upper nuts to 52 Nm (38 lb ft).
5. Install the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Right) (Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Right))Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Left) (Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Left)).
6. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
7. Lower the vehicle.
