Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Position the rear window all the way down.

Note: Pull rearward on the rear door frame applique to release clips from the door frame.

2. Remove the rear door inner door frame applique to access the rear screws.




3. Remove the rear door outer belt sealing strip screws.




4. Remove the rear window outer belt sealing strip by pulling the sealing strip from the rear door pinch-weld flange.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the rear door outer belt sealing strip to the rear door pinch-weld flange.




2. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip to the pinch-weld flange, pressing into place until full seated.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip screws.

Tighten the rear door outer belt sealing strip screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Install the rear door frame applique, align the clips to the door frame and push in place.
