Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake

Removal Procedure

1. Turn the ignition OFF.




2. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector♦(1) from the CMP sensor♦(2).




3. Remove the CMP sensor to engine front cover retaining bolt♦(1).

4. Remove the CMP sensor from the engine front cover♦(2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the CMP sensor♦(2) to the engine front cover.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the CMP sensor to engine front cover retaining bolt♦(1) and tighten to 10♦Nm♦(89♦lb♦in).




3. Install the CMP sensor electrical connector♦(1) to the CMP sensor.
