Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the window to the full down position.

2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.

3. Remove the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement.

4. Remove the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement.





Note: Pull the window run channel inside trim panel (1) to detach the retainers.

5. Remove the window run channel inside trim panel (1) from the door (2).




6. Remove the window run channel to door retaining screws (2).




7. Remove the window run channel to door upper retaining screws (1).




8. Remove the window run channel and the window sealing strip (1) together from the door.

Installation Procedure





Important: Fit the window sealing strip (1) to the run channel together before fitting to the door.


1. Install the window run channel and window sealing strip (1) together to the door.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the window run channel to door upper retaining screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).




3. Install the window run channel to door retaining screws (2).

Tighten the screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).




4. Install the window run channel inside trim panel (1) to the door (2).

5. Install the window inner weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement Service and Repair.

6. Install the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement.

7. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
