Gear Select/Skip Shift Solenoid Replacement

DT-48827 - Gear Select/Reverse Lockout Solenoid Socket

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the gear select solenoid electrical connector.





3. Using the DT-48827 - socket, remove the gear select solenoid.

Installation Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution Component Fastener Tightening Caution.

1. Using the DT-48827 - socket, install the gear select (skip shift) solenoid and tighten the solenoid to 40 Nm (30 lb ft).





2. Connect the gear select solenoid electrical connector.

3. Lower the vehicle.
