Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair




Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (7.0L)

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the electrical connector for the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

2. Disconnect the PCV pipe from the air cleaner outlet duct.

3. Loosen the clamp.




4. Remove the bolts holding the air cleaner assembly to the radiator core support.

5. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the air cleaner assembly.

2. Tighten the hose clamp.




3. Install the bolts holding the air cleaner assembly to the radiator core support.




4. Connect the electrical connector for the MAF/IAT sensor.

5. Connect the PCV pipe to the air cleaner outlet duct.
