Front Side Door Window Upper Reveal Molding Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement.

Note:
The front side door upper reveal molding can be replaced without remove the run channel.

2. Place the front door window in the full down position.





3. Insert a suitable plastic tool (1) under the center section of the reveal molding (2), turn the suitable plastic tool (1) clockwise while pulling upward. This will allow the reveal molding to release.





4. Remove the front side door upper reveal molding (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the front side door upper reveal molding (1) as follows:

1. Hook the reveal molding in the upper track (2) of the run channel.

2. Use the palm of your hand, push down and inward firmly around the entire periphery of the reveal molding until fully seated.

2. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement.

3. Clean around the surface of the front side door reveal molding with a 50/50 mixture by volume of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water on a dampened lint free cloth.
