Installation

Fig. 12 Installing rotor hub bearing:

1. Place pulley rotor and hub assembly on support block J-21532-A, to support hub during bearing installation. Do not support pulley rotor face down on flat surface or the rotor face will be bent.

2. Align new bearing with hub bore and drive bearing into hub using pulley and bearing installer J-9481 with handle J-8092, Fig. 12.
3. Stake bearing in 3 places 120° apart, being careful not to stake too deeply as this may distort outer race of bearing.

4. Position pulley rotor and bearing on front head and drive assembly onto front head with rotor and bearing installer J-26271 and handle J-8092, Fig. 15.
5. Install retainer ring.
