Scan Tool Data Definitions

SCAN TOOL DATA DEFINITIONS

Door Lock Switch: The scan tool displays volts. This is a value that is equal to the value of voltage drop across the door lock switch.

Door Lock Switch: The scan tool displays Lock/Unlock/Idle. Lock is displayed when Lock is being pressed on a door lock switch, Unlock is displayed when Unlock is being pressed on a door lock switch and Idle is displayed when a door lock switch is not being pressed.

Driver Door Lock Actuator Command: The scan tool displays Lock/Unlock/Idle. Lock is displayed when Lock has been commanded to the driver door lock actuator, Unlock is displayed when Unlock been commanded to the driver door lock actuator and Idle is displayed when the driver door lock actuator is not being commanded.

Passenger Door Lock Actuator Command: The scan tool displays Lock/Unlock/Idle. Lock is displayed when Lock has been commanded to the passenger door lock actuator, Unlock is displayed when Unlock been commanded to the passenger door lock actuator and Idle is displayed when the passenger door lock actuator is not being commanded.

Liftgate Motor: The scan tool displays Off/On. Off is displayed when the liftgate release actuator is idle and the scan to will momentarily display On when the liftgate release actuator is being commanded to release.

Liftgate Release Solenoid Cmd: The scan tool displays On/Off. The scan tool momentarily displays On when the liftgate release actuator is being commanded to release.

Liftgate Release Sw: The scan tool displays Active/Inactive. Active is displayed when the liftgate release switch is being pressed and Inactive is displayed when the liftgate release switch in not being pressed.
