Starter Motor Replacement

1. Disconnect ground cable at battery.
2. Remove cable at starter.
3. Disconnect wires at solenoid.
4. Remove one stud nut and one bolt attaching starter motor to flywheel housing.
5. Slide transmission oil cooler bracket off stud (if so equipped).
6. Remove starter motor and removable seal.
7. Reverse above procedure to install. When tightening attaching bolt and nut be sure to hold starter away from engine to insure proper alignment.
