9, Fuel Control System For Fault Codes

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine test connector.
2. Disconnect, then reconnect battery electrical connector.
3. Crank engine for approximately 5 seconds, then place ignition switch in the Off position.
4. Place system in diagnosis mode.
5. If no fault codes 88-12-55 are present, proceed to Test 10.
6. If fault codes 88, 12, 26 (fuel injector driver circuit) and 55 are present, proceed to Test 11.
7. If fault codes 88, 12, 27 (fuel control circuit) and 55 are present, proceed to Test 12.
