Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair

Blower Resistor Block Location:

1. Remove the instrument panel glove box and door assembly.
2. Locate the blower resistor block above and to the front of the glove box opening on the cowl plenum and remove the wire connector.
3. Remove the two blower resistor mounting screws and remove the resistor.
4. Carefully pull the resistor block straight out from the cowl plenum opening (do not damage coils) and remove the resistor block from the vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure for reassembly.
