Fuel System Pressure Release Procedure

Refer to "Air Bag System Precautions" for system disarming and arming procedures.

1. Disconnect fuel rail electrical harness from engine harness.
2. Connect suitable jumper wire between fuel rail harness connector terminal A142 and 12 volt power source.
3. Connect another suitable jumper wire to ground source, then momentarily ground one injector harness connector terminal, to release fuel system pressure.
4. Repeat procedure for two to three injectors.
