Pressure Switch Circuit Open/Shorted

Applies to 1994-1/2 & 1995 LH bodies

NOTE: This code becomes active as soon as the condition is detected and becomes stored when the ignition is switched off.

WHEN MONITORED: Continuously with the ignition on.

SET CONDITION: With voltage and current on, the PAB pressure switch sense circuit is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
- PAB pressure switch sense circuit short to ground
- PAB pressure switch sense circuit short to voltage
- Open PAB pressure switch sense circuit
- Faulty passenger air bag module
- Loose or intermittent connection at connector terminals
- Open PAB pressure switch (internal)
- Open PAB switch ground circuit
- Faulty air bag control module
- Short between PAB pressure switch sense and PAB switch ground
