Parking Brake System: Adjustments

1. Release parking brake lever, then loosen cable adjusting nut and ensure cable is slack.
2. Ensure rear wheel brakes are properly adjusted, then tighten cable adjusting nut until a slight drag is felt when the rear wheels are rotated. Loosen the cable adjusting nut until both rear wheels rotate freely.
3. Back off cable adjusting nut an additional two turns.
4. Apply and release parking brake several times to be sure rear wheels are not dragging when cable is in released position.
