Shift Cable: Adjustments

1. Set parking brake, then remove gearshift knob set screw and knob.
2. Remove gearshift selector bezel and lamp wiring.
3. Install gearshift knob and set screw.
4. Place gearshift in P park position, then loosen gearshift cable adjuster nut at shifter assembly.
5. Ensure shifter and transaxle are in P park position, then tighten nut at shifter assembly.
6. Inspect adjustment as follows:
a. Detent position for neutral and drive should be with in limits of hand lever gate stops.
b. Key start must occur only when shift lever is in park or neutral positions.
