1. Remove caliper assembly as described under "Caliper Replacement".

2. Remove caliper support.
3. Remove pin boots and boot ring.
4. Position a suitable wood block in caliper body, then apply compressed air through the brake hose fitting hole to remove piston and dust boot.

CAUTION: Apply air gently.

5. Using finger tip, remove piston seal.
6. Reverse procedure to assemble, noting the following:
a. Inspect cylinder and piston for wear, damage and/or corrosion. Inspect caliper body and sleeve for wear.
b. Apply brake fluid to inner cylinder, then install piston seal into cylinder groove. Do not wipe grease from piston seal.
c. Apply brake fluid to pistons and insert into cylinders by pushing downward into caliper. Do not twist pistons into caliper.
d. Fill piston edge with grease from seal and boot repair kit, then install piston boot.
e. Lubricate bushing, pin boot and slide pins with grease from seal and boot repair kit.
f. Install guide and lockpins. Ensure head marks match with identification marks on caliper body.
