Erroneous DTC 45 "A/C Control Blend Door Input Open Or Shorted To Ground"

NOTE:
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES WITH MANUAL TEMPERATURE CONTROL.

DISCUSSION:

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 45, "A/C Control Blend Door Input Open Or Shorted To Ground" may erroneously become set if the blower switch is "OFF" when the vehicle is started. This condition has no effect on system operation.

To verify if DTC 45 is erroneous, erase DTC(s), turn on blower and start engine. If DTC 45 does not return no further action is necessary. If DTC 45 returns continue diagnostics.
