MHSMM Messages Not Received

WHEN MONITORED
With ignition on

SET CONDITION
BCM has not received any J1850 bus messages from the Memory Heated Seat and Mirror Module (MHSMM) for at least 18 seconds.

THEORY OF OPERATION
BCM receives a variety of information from the MHSMM over the J1850 bus. If the flow of information is stopped for over 18 seconds, the BCM will set this code.

PROBABLE CAUSES
- Wiring open circuit
- Wiring short to ground
- Wiring short to battery
- Failed MHSMM
- Failed BCM
