NAME OF CODE
No Cluster Message

NOTE: This code becomes active and stored as soon as the malfunction is detected.

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously when the ignition is on.

SET CONDITION
If the ACM fails to see the status message from the cluster for 5 continuous seconds the code will be set.

THEORY OF OPERATION
The cluster transmits an airbag warning lamp message on the PC bus one time every second. The ACM monitors the PCI bus for the airbag warning lamp message. If the ACM fails to see the status message for 5 continuous seconds the code will be set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Any CCD bus failure (may be viewed in stored codes once bus is repaired)
- Faulty instrument cluster circuit board
- Faulty airbag control module
