Service Procedure
1.
Locate the dash panel insulation pad under the instrument panel above the accelerator pedal (Figure 1).
2.
Using a sharp knife or razor blade, remove a piece from the pad, cutting it as shown in Figure 1.
3.
Verify that the dash panel insulation pad does not contact the accelerator pedal.
