Power Steering Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVE

Correctly Isolated Remote Ground Cable:





1. Remove the battery ground cable from the ground stud on the shock tower and isolate it cable by installing the cable isolator on the ground stud.

Power Steering Pressure Switch Location:





2. Remove the wire harness connector on from the power steering pressure switch.
3. Remove the power steering pressure switch from the power steering pressure hose.

INSTALL

Power Steering Pressure Switch Location:





1. Install the power steering pressure switch into the power steering pressure hose. Tighten the pressure switch to a torque of 16 Nm (140 inch lbs.).
2. Connect the wire harness connector.
3. Connect the battery ground cable to the ground stud located on the strut tower.
