Resonator: Service and Repair
REMOVALFig.33 Air Inlet Resonator:
1.
Remove bolt holding
resonator to intake manifold (Fig. 33).
2.
Loosen clamp holding
resonator to air inlet tube. Remove resonator.
INSTALLATION 1.
Install air inlet tube to
resonator.
2.
Tighten clamp to
3 ± 0.5 Nm (25 ± 5 in.lbs) torque
3.
Install bolt holding
resonator to intake manifold. Tighten to
5 ± 0.5 Nm (45 ± 5 in. lbs.) torque.
