Heater Core: Service and Repair

The heater core is located within the heater-A/C unit housing. In order to access the heater core for service, the heater-A/C unit housing must be removed from the vehicle and disassembled.

REMOVAL
1. Remove and disassemble the heater-A/C unit housing. Refer to: "Housing Assembly HVAC : Service and Repair" Service and Repair

2. Lift the heater core out of the lower half of the heater-A/C unit housing .

INSTALLATION
1. Position the heater core in the lower half of the heater-A/C unit housing.
2. Assemble and reinstall the heater-A/C unit housing.
