EGR Tube: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner box.
3. Remove the EGR tube clamp bolt at intake manifold.

4. Slide clamp out of the intake manifold slot.

5. Remove the 2 bolts from EGR valve.

6. Remove the tube and gasket.

7. Remove the gasket from the intake manifold and inspect.

INSTALLATION
1. install the tube and gasket.
2. Install the gasket to the intake manifold.
3. Install the 2 bolts to the EGR valve.
4. Slide clamp into the intake manifold slot. Tighten the bolt.
5. Install the air cleaner box.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
