Seat Back Frame

SEAT BACK FRAME

REMOVAL

1. Lower convertible top.
2. Remove seat.
3. Remove headrest.
4. Disengage rear seat back j-strap to expose hog rings and tie.
5. Remove hog rings.
6. Remove bolts attaching seat back to seat.
7. Remove nut attaching recliner to frame.
8. Remove seat back from seat assembly.
9. Peel off seat back cover.

INSTALLATION

1. Place seat back cover onto frame.
2. Install nut attaching recliner to frame. Tighten nut to 12 N.m (105 in.lbs.) torque.
3. Install bolts attaching seat back to seat. Tighten to 54 N.m (480 in.lbs.) torque.
4. Install headrest.
5. Install seat hog rings.
6. Engage rear seat back j-strap on seat back and engage zipper.
7. Install j-strap on seat.
