Variable Induction Control Valve: Service and Repair

MANIFOLD TUNE VALVE

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

2. Remove upper radiator support, refer to the Cooling section.
3. Disconnect electrical connector (Fig. 9).
4. Remove pencil brace.
5. Remove manifold tuning valve mounting screws. Remove tuning valve.

INSTALLATION
1. Install tuning valve. Tighten mounting screws to 11.9 Nm (105 in. lbs.) torque.
2. Install pencil brace.
3. Install upper radiator support, refer to the Cooling section.
4. Install electrical connector.
5. Connect negative battery cable.
