Impact Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

2. Disconnect impact sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the impact sensor mounting screws and remove sensor.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the impact sensor in tile vehicle.
2. Install the mounting screws.
3. Tighten the sensor screws to 6 Nm (50 in. lbs.) torque.
4. Connect the impact sensor electrical connector.
WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE. REFER TO ELECTRICAL, RESTRAINTS, DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING - AIRBAG SYSTEM FIRST.
