Idle Speed: Specifications

IAC Motor (PCM controlled target idle) 800-1500 rpm (coldstart)
Plus or minus (+/-) 100 rpm above 800 rpms and /or (+/-) 200 rpm below 1500 rpms.

Catalytic Efficiency Check/Test (Engine Speed) approx. 1216-1952 rpm

Note: The engine idle speed is stabilized by the (preset) factory mechanical adjustment screw. Never attempt to adjust the idle speed using screw. See also, emission label under vehicle hood.

Note:. 3.2L/3.5L IAC motor is located on side of Throttle Body below the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).
