Power Seat Switch: Testing and Inspection

DRIVER SEAT SWITCH

For complete circuit diagrams, refer to Wiring Diagrams.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the power seat switch from the outboard seat cushion side shield.

3. Use an ohmmeter to test the continuity of the power seat switch in each switch position. See the Power Seat Switch Continuity chart. If OK, refer to the Seat Track Diagnosis and Testing. If not OK, replace the faulty power seat switch.
