Body Control Module Internal Failure








WHEN MONITORED
Continuous.

SET CONDITION
If the Body Control Module (BCM) detects an internal malfunction, the DTC is set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- No power to body control module
- Body control module

Diagnostic Test




1. MEASURE THE VOLTAGE OF THE BCM POWER CIRCUIT

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the BCM harness connector.

NOTE: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.

Measure the voltage of the Fused B(+) circuit (cavity 4) at the BCM C4 harness connector.

Q: Is the voltage between 12 and 16 volts?

YES: Replace the Body Control Module. Perform REAR SPOILER VERIFICATION TEST. Rear Spoiler Verification Test
NO: System voltage must be between 12 and 16 volts. Repair the voltage concern as necessary. Perform REAR SPOILER VERIFICATION TEST. Rear Spoiler Verification Test
