Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair



REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.




2. Remove the lower instrument panel cover (5).




3. Disconnect the brake lamp switch harness connectors (1).
4. Press the locking tab (2) and rotate the brake lamp switch (4) clockwise.
5. Remove the brake lamp switch (4) from the brake pedal brace (3).

INSTALLATION
1. Install the brake lamp switch into the brake pedal brace (2) and rotate counterclockwise to stop.




2. Connect the brake lamp switch harness connector (1).
3. Install the lower instrument panel cover.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
