Leak Detection Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise vehicle and support.

EVAP Canister And NVLD:




3. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove clamps and remove hoses.

5. Press tab and release Natural Vacuum Leak Detection pump.

INSTALLATION

1. Slide the Natural Vacuum Leak Detection pump onto the bracket and make sure that the tab locks into the bracket.

NVLD/EVAP Canister Assembly:




2. Install hoses and clamps.
3. Connect the electrical connector and lock.
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
